Wireline/Slickline Services

Wireline/Slickline services are used on an existing wellbore to lower equipment or measurement devices into the well for well intervention and reservoir evaluation. Wireline/Slickline is a thin wire 0.108” to 0.125” introduced into a well to deliver and retrieve tools downhole and can support the acquisition of data from memory tools regarding the conditions of the wellbore.

The applications of P W Well Services Ltd’s Wireline/Slickline units and associated equipment include:

• Setting and recovering wellbore equipment i.e. plugs, gauges, valves
• Adjustment of valves and sleeves located downhole
• Downhole logging i.e. resistivity, conductivity, formation pressure, sonic properties and wellbore dimensions
• Gas lift valve replacement
• Bailer runs
• Fishing and jarring
